Dan Whiffin, President

Professional Background



Dan started his career in Chicago buying and rehabbing HUD homes in preparation for sale.

In the mid-eighties he moved to Texas and was hired in sales by a large production builder. He received top awards for the highest volume of sales, but his heart was in construction. Dan worked his way up to land acquisitions for a large apartment building company and continued this until the late 90s. During this time Dan acquired additional expertise in construction, land development, banking relationships and construction management.

Dan started his own company building custom homes, eventually working up to high-end customs, remodeling, and hazard damage homes.

During the last downturn in the economy, he was asked to build a fellowship hall addition to a church. As a result, it led to other jobs of its type.

Because of Dan’s background in marketing and construction, he brings a unique set of knowledge and skills to every contract he is awarded. He understands that each is not just a “job” but has personal and emotional components to it. He interfaces well with clients and understands that projects will require alternative and creative thinking due to modifications, budgets and needs.
